Engr Muhammad Abbasi is presently working with KAUST Solar Center as a Technical and Educational Development Specialist. In his present role, he is in charge of creating educational outreach programs and serving as the PV Design /Installation school's lead trainer for the development of local human capacity in the renewable energy sector. On behalf of Kaust Solar Centre, he is also collaborating with a number of commercial partners, including CEER, NEOM, and Acwa Power, to provide technical services for PV. He formerly held the positions of Team Lead and Lead Trainer at Saudi Electric Services, where he managed three distinct training facilities in KSA for solar PV training. He has already completed more than 100 training sessions with more than 1,000 participants in the Distributed Generation PV Training Programs in KSA. He is recognized as a certified designer/installer and trainer by NABCEP, KACARE, and SEC. His technical interests include AI for PV, MW and Small Scale PV Design, PV System Due Diligence, PV Testing and Operations.
